AMS: Menzies awards CEIV Pharma accreditation
Global aviation services provider Menzies Aviation has been awarded the Iata Ceiv Pharma accreditation for its cargo facility at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS).
The International Air Transport Association (Iata) recognised certification is awarded to companies in the air cargo supply chain that demonstrate compliance with the Iata Centre of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics (Ceiv Pharma) standards.
The announcement underlines Menzies’ capabilities in handling high-value, time-sensitive, and temperature-controlled pharmaceutical products, ensuring the integrity and quality of all shipments. With a team of 250 employees, the 37,000 sqm warehouse at AMS handles approximately 300,000 t of cargo each year. (cj)
