Amelia Intl launches cargo offer with an ATR72
The health crisis has had a strong impact on the international economy, driving the growth of e-commerce and emergency restocking. The demand for air freight is therefore growing rapidly. Many routes – previously served by aircraft such as the ATR 42, Saab 340, Embraer 120, etc. – require higher capacity aircraft.
To meet this demand, Amelia International (a Slovenian subsidiary of the French Amelia Group), offers an ATR72-212 cargo aircraft. It landed on Thursday, 6 January 2022 at Ljubljana airport and will remain based in the Slovenian capital.
This aircraft is suitable for all cargo activities thanks to its 1,000 nm range and a load capacity of up to 8.2 t. The airline is already working with several freight brokers and intends to develop this new offer quickly. (cj)
