ALS expands to Poland
ALS Customs Services has been working as a full-service customs broker in international markets for more than 30 years. The company’s customs experts are now offering their international solutions for customs processes and services in Poland, including advisory services for importers and exporters.
ALS has opened its first office in Szczecin in the Northwest of the country for this purpose. Managing director is Alina Rusinek. With its strategic location, Poland is an ideal import and export point for goods shipped to and from EU. In this sense, ALS said it was a logical step to offer its services from Poland as well.
Poland’s third-most important export market is UK, which after Brexit requires customs handling, making Poland an ideal destination for the company’s expansion plans. ALS is also expecting further growth in exports to Ukraine, which has also been included in its development plans.
ALS Poland will work closely with its colleagues in UK, France, Germany and the Benelux countries. The service portfolio includes general customs clearance, such as import, export and transit declarations using the IT products that ALS has developed. The company will also offer solutions for bonded warehouses and temporary storage in future. (ben)
