Alliance to ship vaccines
The global airline alliance Skyteam Cargo has launched "V Excellence", which covers the transport of Covid-19 shipments moved under the members' product family "customised vaccines", offering priority handling, and "specialised pharma", the solution for all pharma shipments.
Most of the twelve members hold Iata CEIV Pharma certification and are experts in the transportation of pharmaceutical, health care and life science products.
Omar Hariri, Skyteam Cargo chairman and CEO of Saudia Cargo, which to date has transported over 10 t of Pfizer & Astra Zeneca vaccines into Saudi Arabia: "'V Excellence' is backed by a vast network reach combined with years of experience in special handling to guarantee the safe, reliable transportation of millions of doses of Covid-19 vaccines between continents."
