All Nippon Airlines concludes eventful fiscal year
All Nippon Airlines (ANA), the Japanese carrier that celebrated the take-over of its first A380 in March, published its results for the financial year which ended on 31 March 2019.
Although there was a fourth quarter drop in demand for cargo from China, performance in international cargo services until the end of the third quarter was strong, backed by robust demand centred on automotive parts and electronic components bound for North America and Europe. Revenue from international cargo services increased by EUR 56.3 million (+5.9%), while revenue from domestic cargo services decreased by EUR 25.7 million (-10.6%).
In other news, ANA Cargo has announced that its warehouse in New Delhi (India) will be relocated starting tomorrow (1 May 2019), when the carrier moves from Celebi to DCSC (Delhi Cargo Service Centre). (ah)
