Alibaba targeting SMEs
The Cainiao Network, the logistics arm of the Alibaba Group Holding, recently announced the launch of a digital end-to-end e-commerce logistics service for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The offer is intended to include services such as pickup, warehousing, supply chain, customs clearance and last mile delivery in 120 countries worldwide, as well as real-time parcel tracking, one-stop after-sales services, delivery guarantees and warranty, a media release added.
The project is based on a partnership with Shoplazza, a software-as-a-service (saas) platform specialising in direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce. (sh)
