Alha Group helps build transatlantic bridge
Volga-Dnepr Group continues to support the life-saving uninterrupted supply chains through its dedicated services offering in partnership with DHL Global Forwarding LS&H sector experts. This time Air Bridge Cargo Airlines and Cargo Logic Air organised the delivery of insulin in a batch of Envirotainer and DoKaSch RAP containers from Milan to Chicago.
Alha Group, which covered warehousing and ramp handling, enabled the loading of 18 active containers onboard a B747F. The medicines are aimed to support the permanent healthcare flows which were partially broken during the pandemic peak.
Andrea Battaglia, Alha Group's special products development manager: "We are planning together to streamline our handling process in order to ensure flawless service and make Milan the main pharma gateway for southern Europe."
