Albatros-Express travels to Rotterdam
The first TFG train to the Dutch port of Rotterdam is already in the starting blocks. At 01.59 h on 18 October it will leave Dortmund, Germany and set off on its maiden voyage to Europe’s largest deep-water port. From this date, Albatros Express trains will run six times a week between the port of Rotterdam and the German cities of Dortmund, Duisburg and Ludwigshafen.
TFG Transfracht is a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn and specialises in hinterland transport services. With more than 14,000 connections per year and more than 19 terminals, the Albatros Express network offers the densest network of rail services in seaport hinterland transport. (ben)
