Albatros-Express improves hinterland connections

TFG Transfracht is expanding its Albatros Express services in Germany as of 11 April 2022. The train will offer two more departures to the German sea ports to both the Dortmund and Frankfurt routes, bringing the number of runs from Frankfurt to the seaports up to twelve.

The trains from Dortmund will operate 15 times a week and the Erfurt route will be switched to the central hub in Maschen. Transfracht will therefore soon offer six departures linking all the major loading points in Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Bremen and Wilhelmshaven.

At the same time, the frequencies to Jade Weser Port will be increased from two to four departures per week. Between Grossbeeren and the German seaports, the service will be extended by an additional round trip to a total of thirteen weekly departures. (ben)
