Airlines deepen cooperation with pharma logistics providers
Ahead of the Logipharma event in Montreux (Switzerland) from today, 9 April 2019, until next Thursday, CSafe Global, a US provider of active and passive temperature-controlled packaging solutions for pharmaceutical products, has reported that American Airlines is the latest airline to approve the CSafe RAP.
In other news, SkyCell, a Swiss-based manufacturer of temperature-controlled containers for pharmaceuticals, has announced the expansion of its existing collaboration with Air France KLM Martinair Cargo.
In a recent transport of temperature-sensitive vaccines by the airline, two SkyCell containers were used, set at +5°C. The precious cargo from a British pharma company was transported successfully from Rome FCO (Italy) to Washington IAD (USA) without any temperature deviations and in due time and order. (ah)
