Air Malta banks on cargo business
Air Malta has extended its total cargo management (TCM) agreement with Network Airline Services (NAS) for a further two years in order to strengthen its strategic position and retain its global cargo footprint and presence through the GSA's network.
Providing TCM services for Air Malta over the last few years, the GSA has assisted the airline in expanding its cargo business and establishing itself in the global freight marketplace, whilst increasing distribution channels. This has allowed the partnership to build a platform for the future growth of its cargo business as an important revenue contributor.
NAS sales director John Gilfeather: "We look forward to diversifying Air Malta’s product range and global coverage even further, and the extension of this agreement allows us to do so." (ah)
