AGL names new director of Katanga in DRC

Africa Global Logistics has named Eldon Khuty as the new managing director to head its subsidiary in Katanga (DRC, Democratic Republic of Congo). He replaces Rodolphe Kembukuswa, who has been appointed country director of AGL DRC in Kinshasa.

Relying on AGL’s international network, Khuty’s task will be to strengthen the company’s multimodal solutions, particularly on rail, road, river, or lake corridors, and in the ports of Lobito in Angola, Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania), Durban (South Africa) and Walvis Bay (Namibia).

Holding an MBA from the Frankfurt School of Finance and a master’s degree in economics, Eldon Khuty has more than 15 years of experience in the fields of logistics. He joined AGL in 2007 as head of maritime transport and was most recently managing director of AGL Tanzania. (cj)
