Agility gains prestigious award in Africa
The new Mozambique park of Agility Logistics Parks (ALP) has won the “best industrial and logistics development in Africa” award at the Africa property and investment summit in Johannesburg, South Africa. The award recognised the development in Maputo as a pioneering, world-class real estate development that champions global standards and best practices.
It also recognised Agility as a trailblazer in commercial real estate. The facility, which opens on 1 November 2019, is a 295,420 sqm development of international-standard warehouses. The Mozambique ALP provides warehouses for lease for storage, distribution, packaging, processing and light manufacturing to both multinationals and local companies.
ALPs are secure within a site perimeter wall, providing consistent power and IT connectivity and creating an enabling environment where tenants can focus on their business while meeting international operational standards for environmental and waste management. (mw)
