ACS posts record profits in 2022
Air Charter Service’s results exceeded expectations in 2022. Total group revenue had been significantly inflated in 2021 due to Covid-related demand, especially in the cargo sector.
It continued throughout Q1/2022, giving the aircraft charter broker an exceptional start to the year. Finally, total group revenue declined from GBP 1.29 billion to GB P1.09 billion (EUR 1.23 billion), with cargo charter revenue accounting for 60%, ebitda increased from GBP 72 million to GBP 82 million.
ACS founder and chairman Chris Leach: "Our underlying business is increasing and, whilst we might not hit GBP 1 billion this year, our aim is to finish with revenue between GBP 800 and GBP 900 million. There are exciting times ahead, with three new office openings in 2023, the first of which has just been announced as Mexico City." (ah)
