ACG introduces fresh operation between Oslo and China
The Slovakian airfreight company Air Cargo Global (ACG) has started a twice-weekly B747-400F route between Oslo, Norway’s main airport, and Tianjin, a city around 100 km east of Beijing.
ACG's CCO Peter Scholten: "We aim to step up to three weekly departures from March, if the market responds well to the increased capacity." It is demand for Norwegian seafood, expressed by the Chinese trading company Fish Forever, which is behind ACG's Norwegian effort.
The Norwegian airport operator Avinor partnered the launch of the new service, aiming to enable the growing national seafood industry to reach its markets in a fast and efficient manner.
