ABC adds second weekly service to Ohio
Launched exactly one year ago, Airbridge Cargo Airlines (ABC) is expanding its scheduled freighter operations at Rickenbacker airport (LCK) to a twice-weekly frequency. This doubles its airfreight solutions for customers within a one-day drive to nearly half of the US population and one-third of the Canadian population.
ABC General Director Sergey Lazarev: "We feel that our operations to/from Columbus OH greatly benefit our customers as we operate to this cargo-friendly airport, providing dedicated, high quality services and leveraging the export/import volumes of the region. In 2018, our volumes tipped over 5,000 t to/from LCK."
For Joseph Nardone, president & CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, the expansion "is further proof that LCK is one of the industry's new global gateways". (ah)
