AAL Shipping showcases "Super B-Class"
AAL Shipping released a short film highlighting the design and technical innovations and specifications of the "AAL Limassol", the first unit of its mega size 32,000 DWT Super B-Class heavy lift vessels.
This kind of vessel meets the highest possible automation and emission standards, as well as complying with IMO regulations on emissions and sustainability for environmental protection.
AAL Shipping collaborated with its sister company Columbia Shipmanagement (CSM) to create a Super B-Class vessel which can safely accommodate over 42,000 cbm of large and small cargo on a single sailing.
Five of the Super B-Class units will be named after major breakbulk ports, such as "AAL Antwerp", "AAL Hamburg", "AAL Houston", "AAL Dubai" and "AAL Dammam". (lh)
