AA Cargo to add INC and PVG
American Airlines is expanding its cargo-only operation this month to provide more than 5.5 million pounds (2500 t) of capacity to transport critical goods each week between the USA and Europe, Asia and Latin America.
After operating its first cargo-only flights since 1984 between Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Frankfurt last month, the airline expanded its cargo-only service to multiple destinations with the addition of flights from DFW to Dublin (once weekly with B777-300) and Hong Kong (up to five weekly B777-300), between New York (JFK) and London Heathrow (twice weekly B777-200) and between Miami and Buenos Aires (up to seven weekly B777-300).
The airline is also working toward adding three times weekly cargo-only Dreamliner service to Shanghai (PVG) and Seoul (ICN) from Mid-April. (ah)
