A vision takes shape
The Voigt group specialises in supply chain solutions for pharma logistics. In August 2017 the Swiss company started building a new logistics centre in Niederbipp (Canton Berne).
Construction is well advanced and the project is now on the home straight. The entire complex will cover an area of 270,000 sqm, equivalent to 300 single-family houses, and accommodate a logistics area of 31,700 sqm. All in all, 54 companies are involved in the planning and realisation of the building extension. More than 60 people from within and outside the company play an active role in the project.
The Voigt group is satisfied with the quality and speed of the work, which is in keeping with the agreed timetable. Currently, the company looks forward to taking possession of the completed building in May 2020. (mw)
