A tote to tackle automation problems
Loadhog is launching a new tote container to support the automation of intralogistics services. The Autotote 64 is designed to run efficiently and smoothly on automated systems and is to be used for automated storage and distribution.
Thanks to its moulded design and chamfered, cantilever base edge, the tote can run across conveyors and directional changes without disturbance. To increase durability, it has been built with a strong base and strengthened interaction points.
The tote comes in a range of sizes and designs and can be produced with 100% recycled materials. Based on previous models, of which Loadhog has supplied over 350,000 units, this new design is both strong and lightweight. Loadhog will soon be opening a new manufacturing plant for the Autotote 64 in Obernai, close to Strasbourg. (mk)
