A tool to assess the benefits of railfreight
Canadian National Railways (CN) has launched My Carbon Emissions, a new self-service, sustainability tool. The new platform provides customers with a detailed report of their estimated GHG emissions based on all their loaded shipments moved on CN, as well as the emissions avoided by choosing rail over truck based on all their loaded shipments moved on CN.
This information will also help identify more eco-friendly transportation options and empowers customers to make data driven decisions that support their climate objectives, CN said. The railway company launched its first emission calculator 13 years ago. (ben)
