A tipper in a patriotic royal look
Hopkins Estates, a property development, farming and real estate firm from Wincanton in the county of Somerset in the south of England, has taken delivery of a new Volvo FMX 420 8x4 tipper, wrapped in special livery to mark King Charles III’s recent coronation.
The FMX eight-wheeler will be used for aggregates delivery and muck-away work in the southwestern counties of Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. The vehicle is fitted with a Charlton steel tipper body that comes with a Union Jack rollover sheet to finish off the truck’s patriotic, royal look.
The eight-wheeler arrived at Hopkins Estates as the first of a 32-truck order, which includes four volumetric concrete mixers, as the firm begins to transition its fleet to Volvo from a rival manufacturer. The vehicle is expected to work five to six days a week. (ben)
