A terminal for EUR 10 million
AD Ports Group has announced that Noatum Terminals, part of Noatum Group, has acquired 100% of APM Terminals Castellón in Spain for EUR 10 million.
The deal includes a long-term agreement with the stevedoring union, ensuring stability and productivity. The acquisition expands Noatum’s capacity at Castellón to 250,000 sqm and 250,000 teu annually, making up about 70% of the port's container volume capacity.
The terminals handle bulk cargo and ro-ro, with rail links to the hinterland, serving the Mediterranean, Middle East, and North Africa. The region is significant for tile production, with 80% exported. Thee acquisition allows Noatum Terminal Castellón to expand its operations in bulk, general cargo, and containers, maintaining APM Terminals' services. (pb)
