A strategic move to Stansted
Aiming to tap into the growing demand for online shopping and cross-border trade between China and Europe, Hong Kong Air Cargo, founded in 2017, has launched a new intercontinental route to London Stansted, its first UK route.
Operated by one of the airline's five A330-200Fs, the westbound flight stops in Almaty, Kazakhstan, while the eastbound flight connects London and Hong Kong nonstop.
Clifford Hung, president and COO: "This route will provide our customers with more choices and flexibility for their air cargo logistics needs and create more value and opportunities for our stakeholders and partners." Other destinations include Bangkok, Chennai, Delhi, Dubai, Hanoi, Istanbul, Manila, Milan, Osaka, Shanghai, Singapore, and Taipei. (ah)
