A strategic airfreight partnership in Australia

Team Global Express has entered into a strategic USD 480 million, seven-year partnership with the trans-Tasman cargo airline Texel Air Australasia. This cooperation has introduced four Boeing 737-800 BCF (Boeing converted freighter) aircraft to Team Global Express’ domestic airfreight fleet to maximise delivery efficiency and reliability.

The partnership commenced in June and transports freight throughout the country as part of the Team Global Express air network. It supports 59 Australian jobs, with 39 roles based in the Queensland operations hub.

The Boeing 737-800 BCFs replace four aircraft in the company’s total fleet of forty planes and are the first to proudly display Team Global Express branded livery. Team Global Express can deliver to 95% of Australia within 48 hours through its extensive intermodal network involving rail, road, air, and sea transport. (cj)
