A step further towards a net zero business
In UK, Biocair has added its first 100% electric vans to its fleet of delivery and collection vehicles. The acquisition is part of company’s effort to become a net zero business by 2024.
The new units will be used to complete deliveries and collections at ambient temperatures. The Maxus eDeliver 9 vehicles in particular will be deployed in the Cambridge area.
Biocair is planning to introduce more electric vehicles in a range of locations globally, whilst continuing to invest in supporting infrastructure, the company said. Last year, the global specialist in temperature-controlled logistics for life sciences was honoured by the 2022 Eco Vadis silver medal award. (ben)
