A step across the Baltic Sea for Hellmann
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has taken a major step into the Baltic States by acquiring the remaining shares of its local partner companies. The acquisition will strengthen its market position in the region and in Northern and Eastern Europe.
Hellmann has been present in the Baltic market with three companies since their establishment in 2007 and 2008. The shares will be fully taken over while the national managing partners will remain in place. So far, the Baltic product portfolio has been road transport of full and part loads. This portfolio is set to expand.
"The previous acquisitions in Europe combined with the takeovers in the Baltic States allow us to expand our strategic network and to develop faster and more efficient solutions for our customers," says Piotr Zaleski, regional CEO East Europe, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. (mk)
