A service contract for Poland’s toll system
Kapsch Traffic Com has won the tender to provide direct customer service for the Polish electronic toll levy system E-Toll. The PLN 62.87 million (EUR 14 million) contract will run for three years from 1 February 2024.
Under the agreement, Kapsch will provide customer service for the E-Toll system at 100 distribution points in Poland which are open 24/7 all year round. The contract includes full customer services, such as registering customer data, providing information, accepting payments, charging user accounts, and providing on-board equipment.
E-Toll is used to levy tolls for trucks and cars on a total of 3,660 km of Polish highways, motorways, and national roads. (ben)
