A quali-tea hub
GSE has been entrusted with the development of a 26,500 sqm site for Dammann Frères, a French company specialising in tea import, manufacture, and sales.
The hub is located in the Livraindières business park, Dreux, in the Loire Valley. It features 14,000 sqm of storage space as well as 10,000 sqm for manufacturing. The remainder will be used for office areas and a store. Dammann Frères will thus be able to fit all its requirements into one location, from management to packaging and logistics.
In accordance with both parties’ sustainability goals, GSE has integrated a high energy performance, an air-water heat pump and photovoltaic panels into the building’s design. This will enable the site to become self-sufficient and attain Breeam’s “Very Good” certification. EUR 30 million will invested in the project. Construction began in March 2024 and completion is set for August of next year. (mk)
