A promotion at Boeing
Boeing has appointed Stephanie Pope as executive vice president and chief operating officer. In this newly created position, she will report to Boeing president and CEO Dave Calhoun.
As Boeing COO, Pope will oversee the company's three business units, which a special focus on supply chains, quality, manufacturing, and engineering. The CEOs of the business units, the Boeing chief engineer and the president of Boeing global will report directly to Pope.
Other senior corporate functional executives will continue reporting to Calhoun. Pope's successor to lead Boeing global services will be named at a later date. Pope has been serving as president and CEO of Boeing global services since April 2022. Previously, she was chief financial officer of Boeing commercial airplanes. (cj)
