A premiere for IAG Cargo
IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG), is opening a new route between Dublin (DUB) and Denver (DEN) for the first time in its history. From today, 17 May 2024, IAG Cargo customers will be able to transport goods directly between Dublin and Denver with a frequency of four times per week, utilising an Airbus 330-200 aircraft.
Services between Dublin and Toronto (YYZ) will also see a boost in capacity due to a wide body Airbus 330-200 now being deployed four times a week on the service. These additional options are essential for facilitating the movement of pharmaceutical products.
This is very important for Ireland, since, according to the central statistics office, medical and pharmaceutical items are the country’s largest exports, having increased by 48% from January 2023 to January 2024. (cj)
