A partnership to boost container traffic
The Russian Delo Group and Russian Railways (RZD) have signed a cooperation agreement for the organisation of railway container transportation. The document provides for long-term cooperation between the monopoly and the largest transport and logistics holding, RZD said.
The aim is to develop and increase the volume of rail container traffic, including transit, and to improve the relevant infrastructures and security.
The agreement assumes cooperation between the parties in the implementation of RZD’s long-term development programme until 2025. The companies will work together to promote Russian transport services across the 1520 network. (ben)
