A Nordic venture for Rhenus
Rhenus Warehousing Solutions is taking over 100% of the Danish company DKI Logistics. Founded in 2001, 3PL DKI now has around 350 employees and seven warehouse locations spread across its headquarters in the port city of Horsens and the cities of Herning and Køge. The Rhenus Group in Denmark is currently represented in Copenhagen and Aarhus.
DKI handles products from the healthcare sector, FMCG, furniture, clothing, household appliances and DIY product verticals for the Danish market on more than 280,000 sqm of warehouse space.
A new warehouse is currently being built and is expected to be completed by the end of 2022; another is planned for 2023. The acquisition is expected to be completed in Q4/2022. (sh)
