A new head for UK business
ID Logistics, a worldwide provider of contract logistics, has appointed Stuart Evans as managing director for its UK branch. He has more than 25 years' experience in the 3PL contract logistics and transport sector.
The group's objective is to grow its FMCG, e-commerce and distribution business. Evans’ task will be to develop the partnership and trust of the group's major international customers and to promote new technologies and innovations within the company.
Evans began his professional career in 1997 at DSV – Global Transport and Logistics, gaining experience in commercial and operational management roles through the 2000s. He became a site general manager in 2017 and then continued his career as regional director, managing operations in logistics sites in the UK (cj)
