A new facility near Dresden
France-headquartered logistics group Geodis is planning a multi-user logistics facility in Coswig near Dresden, Germany. The new hub is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in October of this year.
The building, developed by Garbe Industrial Real Estate, will feature two large halls with floors lined with WGK (water hazard class) foil and a photovoltaic system on the roof to cover a large part of its electricity requirements.
The Coswig hub will offer a wide range of services, including inbound and outbound logistics, value-added services, after sales and return logistics, as well as repair and refurbishment of information technology products and assembly and software configuration of devices, up to the installation of the software at the customer’s site. E-logistics and e-fulfilment services will also be part of the portfolio. (sh)
