A new certification for Swissport in Vienna
Swissport Cargo Services Austria has been awarded the ‘Transported Asset Protection Association’ (Tapa) FSR-C certification for its air cargo logistics at Vienna International Airport (VIE).
Andreas Ottendorf, station manager for Vienna and Graz, was enthusiastic about this milestone: "The Tapa certification not only validates Swissport Cargo Services’ adherence to the association’s security protocols but also solidifies its position as a major provider of freight services in Austria."
Looking ahead, Swissport Cargo Services Austria will further enhance its security regulations. Plans are already underway to certify the whole Fischamend site near Vienna airport including all tenants for the Tapa FSR-A certification, which represents the highest standard of security within the industry.
