A more balanced third quarter
USA-based Schneider National has reported its results for Q3/2022 and for the nine months that ended on 30 September 2022. In 9M/2022, its operating revenues increased by 25% to just above USD 5 billion. Revenues climbed by 18% to USD 4.4 billion, whilst income from operations grew by 29% to USD 457.1 million.
Schneider's net income rose by 28% to USD 347.7 million. Although it did well, Schneider said that Q3/2022 reported "a more balanced supply and demand condition."
The company's net income for Q3/2022 was USD 125.8 million, an improvement of USD 15.8 million, or 14%, compared to Q3/2021. Logistics revenues (excluding fuel surcharge) for Q3/2022 were USD 464.2 million, a decrease of USD 10.4 million, or 2%, compared to Q3/2021. (sh)
