A JV to elevate digitalisation

In Germany, airport operator Fraport and software provider Dakosy have created the 50/50 joint venture Allivate to set up, operate and develop cargo community systems (CCS) for airfreight. The aim is to further advance the digitalisation of air cargo processes both at Frankfurt airport and internationally. The partners will focus primarily on expanding the jointly-established CCS "Fair@Link".

Fraport's Martina Schikorr, who will head the JV in partnership with Dakosy's Dirk Gladiator, sees this commitment to the cargo business as a signal: "A functioning digital infrastructure is a must-have for every modern cargo hub. We want to offer our customers the best CCS possible so that their processes will run simply, smoothly and quickly." (ah)
