A good year for international agent
The Pérez y Cía. Group, which was founded as a maritime agent in 1853 in Santander, Spain, has reported its results for 2021, posting revenues of EUR 377 million and an ebitda of EUR 56 million.
After a management reshuffle in 2019, the group has diversified its operations, entering new markets such as China, Brazil, Costa Rica, Portugal and Singapore and reinforcing its international vocation.
The group currently operates in 15 countries, as well as being present in most Spanish ports, including Bilbao since 1890. Among the current workforce of 1,000 employees, of whom 10% were hired over the last three years, more than 40% are women. (sh)
