A golden truck to celebrate 50th birthday
Temperature-controlled distribution specialist McCulla (Ireland) has marked its 50th anniversary with the arrival of a special Volvo FH tractor unit. The gold coloured Volvo FH-500 Globetrotter XL is joined by a further fourteen new Volvo FH tractors units that form the company’s vehicle replacement programme for this year.
The fifteen FHs are all equipped with a Lite pusher axle, which can be fitted with twin fuel tanks with a combined capacity of 1,045 litres. The trucks are powered by a Euro-6 D13K engine rated at 500 hp.
McCulla works across Ireland, UK and Europe. The 1969 established family-owned company operates a fleet of 155 temperature-controlled trailers. (ben)
