A French client for Goodman
After a successful cooperation in the Netherlands, 3PL provider Geodis is now starting its first project with Goodman, a global property group, in France. The two parties have inked a lease for a 30,000 sqm logistics platform close to Lyon.
In anticipation of an increase in French online sales from EUR 58 billion in 2021 to EUR 84.5 billion in 2026, the new warehouse will strengthen the development of activities in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Regional manager Frédéric Pasqual, managing director France and Maghreb of Geodis’ contract logistics division, will be in charge of the project. Geodis has been working with Goodman in the Netherlands for some time now. (sh)
