A Euro Dual to expand construction site logistics
The Swiss leasing company European Loc Pool (ELP) has signed a contract with the track construction logistics specialist BM Bahndienste for a Euro Dual locomotive. It is the 100th six-axle hybrid locomotive that the company will supply under a long-term full-service leasing contract. BM Bahndienste will use it to expand its offering for construction site services.
The locomotive will be deployed on various routes, particularly for construction logistics and transport. With its dual operation with full-load diesel the Euro Dual can also be operated on non-electrified routes. The handover to BM Bahndienste is scheduled for December 2024. (ben)
