A centralised procurement platform
Waco System members will soon have access to enhanced digital logistics solutions due to a new collaboration between Waco and Cargo One, an airfreight procurement platform. Together, the companies have launched a platform for the digitalisation of procurement and sales processes, comprising capacity discovery, quoting, and booking.
The partners aim to create a centralised solution to connect forwarders and agents. Combining Cargo One’s air cargo expertise with Waco’s global network, the module enables member-to-member and live air capacity rate bookings.
As a non-profit organisation, Waco has been developing framework solutions for freight forwarders since 1973 and has now amassed a network of 127 members in 119 countries.
“By partnering with Cargo One, we are equipping Waco members with the tools to enhance and streamline their operations digitally,” says Waco’s CEO, Richard Charles. (mk)
