99.9% accuracy in the warehouse
Automotive supplier Minth has been working with cargo-partner since 2013. Now cargo-partner has begun to provide logistics services to support the company in the production of more than 88,000 cars per year, handling about 120 stock keeping units.
In cargo-partner‘s automotive competence centre in Dunajska Streda (Slovakia), the logistics services provider has launched a comprehensive automotive logistics process. From the start, cargo-partner made a commitment to maintain a warehouse accuracy of at least 99%.
In addition to the storage and preparation of the goods in accordance with call-offs by OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), the available services include packaging, repacking, kitting, VDA labelling(compliant with the norms of the German association of the automotive industry), WMS scanning and monitoring, T1 customs handling, invoicing and personalised reports.
The provider oversees current stocks and compares them to the advanced shipping notices received from Minth and the daily call-offs the supplier receives from its customers. (mw)
