8.5 million vaccines in six weeks
Logista has distributed over 8.5 million vaccines across Europe during a six-week vaccination campaign. Based in Spain and Portugal, the logistics provider completed the task using cold chain logistics and relying on close collaboration with other businesses within the group.
Logista Pharma serves 25,000 pharmacies in the Iberian Peninsula and distributes more than ten million vaccine doses annually. The deliveries are managed by Logista Parcel, which ensures safe, temperature-controlled transport.
Logista Parcel’s Frío Farma service enables thermal control between +2 and +8°C. Logista Freight also assists in the transport of vaccines, with 80% of all consignments shipped to destinations abroad. The bulk of the orders went to Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, and Poland. (mk)
