60 new tractors for long-distance haulage

For the first time in its history, the German forwarding company Hegelmann is putting 60 new DAF XF tractors into service. The vehicles will be used to operate long-distance, cross border transport services.

A batch of 19 tractors has already been delivered and they are being deployed at the Hegelmann branch offices in Poland and Lithuania. The service provider, which is present across Europe, has registered a 1000% growth rate since 2011, and currently generates sales of EUR 300 million.

Hegelmann is steadily expanding its pan-European services that are operated by around 2,000 tractors at 20 locations in eleven countries. (ben)
