500 daily transports going digital
Steel manufacturer Thyssen Krupp Europe, founded as a group in 1998, intends to expand its cooperation with the logistics platform Tramsporeon. The company will join the Transporeon network and assign more than 500 steel transports daily via the platform.
The cooperation, which began in 2008, now allows the steel manufacturer to monitor deliveries to its customers, e.g. from the automotive industry, even outside the loading zone.
Real-time visibility (RTV) makes tracking and tracing easier and estimated arrival times make it possible to plan processes in the loading zone with greater foresight. (sh)
