50 Nikola hydrogen fuel cell trucks join fleet
The North American logistics company IMC has opened electric vehicle charging stations in Compton, CA and recently added 50 Nikola hydrogen fuel cell trucks to its fleet. The company can now use these trucks' 800 km range to supply customers with sustainable drayage in a larger service area.
IMC already has Volvo electric trucks in its fleet. The new Freewire electric charging stations will enable drivers to charge their trucks on-site. IMC Logistics is the largest marine drayage company in the USA, moving cargo to and from all major rails and ports in the country. (ben)
