50 e-Actros to replace one-third of the fleet

The West Flanders-based haulier Eutraco is investing EUR 14 million and purchasing 50 eActros 600 trucks from Mercedes-Benz, thereby electrifying one-third of its fleet in one go. Eutraco will be the first logistics player in Belgium to possess such a large number of electric trucks, the company said.

Currently, the forwarder operates 160 diesel vehicles, transporting various goods between customers and its own or external warehouses in Benelux and France. But starting next year, diesel will become a thing of the past. The first of the 50 electric trucks will be delivered by the end of 2025. (ben)
