40 years of Chapman Freeborn Germany
The German branch of Chapman Freeborn, the global specialist for charter flights and part of the Avia Solutions Group (ASG), is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
The foundation stone for Chapman Freeborn Germany was laid in Frankfurt in 1982 through the cooperation with a Düsseldorf company. This was followed by the opening of further offices in Germany in 1991, 1994 and 1998. Around 85 employees now work in the German offices in a wide range of product categories.
Originally, Chapman Freeman’s German branch was founded to focus exclusively on the organisation of freight charters. Now, the branch organises all kinds of air freight transports worldwide: from small charters in helicopters or private jets to heavy-lift transports in Antonov aircraft. (cj)
